Church Related Events and Meetings

Church committees and church activities need to have their events placed on the main church calendar.  This ensures that your group is provided the space and support you need to hold your activities.  Please be advised that each new calendar year, the church group needs to re-submit a request for their ongoing events and meetings.  

Rental Information

First United Methodist Church has affordable, comfortable, functional spaces for rent for daily, evening, weekend, weekly or longer-term rental.  We have spaces for all occasions - events, parties, receptions, classes, meetings, exhibits, recovery groups, musical rehearsals and performances, etc. We rent to individuals, non-profit organizations and businesses.

Interested in renting space at First United Methodist Church? Email the Facility Director to set a time to visit the spaces you are interested in renting.   Also download a copy of the rental rates.  

Please note that weekends events and after hours will include a charge to cover the custodian.

The schedule of staff coverage is made at a month in advance.  Please schedule your events early to ensure the space is available and that staff is available.

First United Methodist Church Facilities Scheduling Policy : Rooms are allocated on a first come, first served basis. Reserve and Rent early so that your group has the preferred space on the needed date/time.  You will also sign a user agreement, submit a non-refundable down deposit and must agree with the terms before renting.
