"Letters to the Seven Churches of Revelation"

Beginning January 12, 2025

We will commence a sermon series on the Seven Churches of Revelation Beginning January 12th. In the opening chapters of the last book of the Bible, the Risen Christ spoke directly to seven prominent congregations of the late first century. The word of the Lord which came to those churches can still speak to our own today. Here is the outline:

  • January 12: To the Church at Ephesus: Restoring our First Love (Rev. 2:1-7)
  • January 19: To the Church at Smyrna: Keeping the Faith (Rev. 2:8-11)
  • January 26: To the Church at Pergamum: What shall We Believe? (Rev. 2:12-17)
  • February 2: To the Church at Thyatira: Tolerating the Intolerable (Rev. 2:8-27)
  • February 9: To the Church at Sardis: Coming Back to Life (Rev. 3:1-6)
  • February 16: To the Church at Philadelphia: An Open Door (Rev. 3:7-11)
  • February 23: To the Church at Laodicea: Firing up the Lukewarm (Rev. 3:12-22)
